Born in Tokyo in 1884 (1884). A student writer and theater researcher in the Taisho and Showa periods. Entered the Department of English Literature at Waseda University and studied various European literature. Studied under Hougetsu Shimamura and Shoyo Tsubonochi. After graduating from university, worked at Waseda Bungakusha and Yomiuri Shimbun, then joined Fuzanbo. He was involved in many books such as editing magazines and dictionaries and editing 24 volumes of "Norm Family Library" and published restories of classics and old tales in the children's literature magazine "Akai Tori" and other publications.
