Takaaki Yoshimoto (Takaaki Yoshimoto)
Born in Tsukishima, Tokyo in 1924.
Poet, literary critic and philosopher.
After graduating from the Department of Electrochemistry, Faculty of Engineering, Tokyo Institute of Technology, he continues to write poetry and critique while working in a factory.
He greatly influenced postwar Japanese thought and was called "the giant of the world of postwar thought."
He died on March 16, 2012.
