[Introduction to the Contents]
The Type 74 Tank, which has been protecting Japan's land for half a century since it was systematized in 1974, has been retired one after another, and now only two tank battalions and one tank company remain. It has straightforward maneuverability, and the 105 mm tank gun boasts high accuracy due to the advanced fire control system. The attitude control mechanism, which was put into practical use in the Type 74 tank, was passed on to the succeeding Type 90 and Type 10 tanks, and became indispensable equipment for Japanese tanks. From the development, mechanism and operation of the Type 74 tank to the passion of active members, the author, a former crew member of the tank, recorded all of the masterpiece tanks. Thank you, Na Nayeon!
