It consists of four parts. In "I. Picture books of Edo = Kusazoshi - Knowing the form of books and how to express them," he explains the form of books and how to express them which is the basis for reading Kusazoshi. "II : Understanding the History of Illustrated Reading" explains the history of comprehensive expressions of pictures and sentences. You can see the history of Kusazoshi as well as the history after Kusazoshi. In "III How to Make and Read Kusazoshi Works", lectures will be given on how Kusazoshi has been made from various perspectives, such as Mr. Character and life and culture, and how to read it. Biography of Authors
In April 1979, "The Book of Early-Modern Literature Seminar Notes" was published mainly by the late Masatane Koike, Emeritus Professor of Tokyo Gakugei University, and also by graduate students of Tokyo Gakugei University. It is published once a year mainly with reprints, commentaries and explanations of Akabon, Kuromoto and Aobon. Later, the title was changed to' Reprint and study of Sokusazoshi.' It ended with the 40th issue in 2019.
In the meantime, 『 and Edo picture books, Early Kusazoshi Shusei 』 (four volumes of I to IV, Kokusho Kankokai, 1987 to 1989), 『 Kuromoto and Aobon research and terminology indexes 』 (Kokusho Kankokai, 1992), 『 Kusazoshi Jiten 』 (Tokyodo Shuppan, 2006), 『 and Edo children's picture books, time travel to the world of reading three hundred years ago! 』 (Bungaku Tsushin, 2019).
