Liberté is a board game of the French Revolution, covering from the trilogy in 1789 to the coup by Napoleon ポナパルト in 1799.
Players earn points by participating in the factional struggle of royalists, radicals, and moderates across France in the whirlwind of revolution and by contributing to an election victory in that area.
Your hand will change the faction you should support.
The key to victory is how well you play across France and how much you contribute to and reward the faction that is likely to win the election in each state.
However, there are two non-score-based victories : one when the radicals win a landslide victory in the election, and the other when the royals win a battle and come back.
When either situation occurs, the game ends immediately and the player who is closest to the radicals or closest to the royals wins regardless of the score.
