Product Description ■ The Ministry of Railways Type ED42 is an electric locomotive exclusively for the section between Yokogawa and Karuizawa (Usui Pass), which used to be the Abt section of the Shinetsu Main Line. In 1934, 28 locomotives were produced to replace the previous Type EC40.
