After working as a private pupil of composer Toru Funamura, this is the first full album for an enka singer from Abashiri, Hokkaidō, who made his debut in 2009. It is composed mainly of Toru Funamura's songs. His singing voice tells of the extreme cold scenery of Hokkaidō, where he grew up, gives a subtle sense of brightness and is a relief.
