[CD Trial listening comment]
The 9th recording played in Berlin during the war in March 1942. It is the sound source that became a hot topic since the Melody A disc came out from the Soviet Union after the war. The LP based on the Melody A disc was released by the British Unicorn Label in 1968. Since then, it has been made into a CD many times. This is the first time that it has been reproduced from the 2 Tra 38 open-reel. Even the inner part of the orchestra can be heard well.
